Anna was born in Joliet and was a lifelong Rockdale resident. She attended Joliet schools. Anna was a member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church all of her life. She was also a member of the Kolo Circle of Serbian Sisters, S.N.F. #97, the Rockdale Chapter of Mothers of World War II.
Preceded in death by her husband George Malinovich, her parents, Nicholas and Anna (nee Nadjulski) Hray, a brother, Peter Hray; 3 sisters, Rose (Nicholas) Chuk, Katherine (Louis) Sukle, and Mary (Albert) Karl, and a sister-in-law, Marie Hray.
Survived by her loving children; Steven (Delores) Malinovich, Nick (Helen) Malinovich, Roseanne Angelovich, and Millie (Michael) O'Leary; her loving grandchildren, Nadine (Joshua Potts) O'Leary, Annette O'Leary, and John (Shannon) Angelovich; a brother, John Hray. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the St. George Serbian Church 300 Stryker Ave. Joliet, Il. 60436 and would be appreciated. Funeral services will be held Monday December 5, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church. Fr. Ned Lunich officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends at the church from 9:00 a.m. until time of services. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-8 p.m. with Pomen services at 7:30 p.m.
