Elizabeth Seifried, daughter of Sebastian Seifried and Barbara Hostetter, was born 20 September 1790 in Unity Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania as calculated from age at death. She married Louis/Lewis Alleshouse,son of Fredrick Alleshouse and his wife, Eve. Louis/Lewis Alleshouse and Elizabeth Seifried had eight known children: Barbara Alleshouse married George Croft, Jacob Alleshouse married Mary Conrad, Sarah Alleshouse married David Rowe, Elizabeth Alleshouse married Gottlieb Harden, Margaret Alleshouse married Samuel Bierly, Catharine Alleshouse married Johann George Stingel, Susan Alleshouse married Peter Infield and Adam Alleshouse married Rebecca Lint.
