ALLERDICE, MRS. MARY Died at the home of her son, Hugh Allerdice at Pleasant Plains, Iowa June 9th. Born in Scotland and while a child came to Nova Scotia with her parents, Hugh and Jane Bankhead. From there to Lycoming Co., PA; thence to Mt. Savage, MD., and then to Lewis county (WV). When about 20 years of age she moved with her parents to Missouri, where she married William Allerdice. From there moved to Iowa. Leaves three sisters, Mrs. May Brown of Lockbridge, Iowa, Mrs. Jane Bond of Jefferson, Ohio, and Mrs. George Fisher of Murphys Creek, all surviving, as does one brother, William Bankhead of Loomis, CO.
