Pauline (Crosby) Hallock, of Enfield, formerly of East Hartford, wife of the late Emory Hallock, died peacefully on Thursday (November 23, 2006) at a local convalescent home.

Born in Cadosia, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Hattie (Schaffer) [sic] Crosby. Pauline worked as an executive secretary for Brown Thompson and G. Fox & Co. for over 30 years before her retirement in 1988. A resident of Enfield for over 20 years, she was a member of the Enfield Congregational Church. Pauline enjoyed spending time with her family. She leaves a daughter and her partner; a sister; a granddaughter; two nieces living locally; as well as several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday 1 p.m. in the chapel of the Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. (Rt. 159) Suffield. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Suffield.
