He resided in Pharsalia and removed to Norwich in 1851 on his retirement. He married in Otsego Co. in 1807, Abigail Warner (1789-1854). She was the daughter of Eleazer and Joanna (Hale) Warner.
Their children were Warner E. born 1809, Henry born 23 April 1813, Elam W, and Hiram born 27 Sept. 1817, died in Norwich, NY 1899. Their 5th child was Eliza, then Samuel and Wlliam H.
Hiram married Abigail M. Newton in 1844, who was born at Preston, NY 17 July 1817. She died Norwich, NY 28 May 1907. They had several children.
