Francis married William Edward Dickey in Taylorsville, Kentucky, 26 December 1931. Francis and Bill were the parents of seven children: they later divorced. She married Howard Hougaard 8 April 1961 in Elko, Nevada. Howard passed away 26 May 1996. Their marriage was sealed in the Ogden LDS Temple.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, camping and fishing. She especially loved traveling with her husband Howard as they visited family from California to Florida, Canada to Texas.
She is survived by her daughters, Mildred Tucker, LouDean (Eddie) Albert, Betty (Jack) Talbot, and Kathleen Reedy; son Joe; brother Ambrose Quire; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Francis was preceded in death by her loving husband; parents; son William H. "Bill" Dickey; daughter Margaret Parsons; grandsons Lloyd Dickey, Kevin Hale, Robert Woodyatt, and Rodney Jeppsen; granddaughters Amber Woodyatt and Rebecca Dickey; one great-great-grandson, five brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 19th at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Interment, Lindquist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd., South Ogden.
