Funeral rites for George Ellsworth, 59, who died yesterday in a local hospital will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Hillcrest Baptist Church, with Rev. Harry Brooks officiating.
Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Arnold Crabb, Woody Inman, Haley Hughes, Clyde Demarets, Ardell Janway and Clyde Brooks.
Ellsworth was a retired electrician and had lived here for the past 28 years.
Survivors include his widow, Nola Ellsworth of Carlsbad; two step-daughters, Mrs. Doris Putnam and Mrs. James Wigley of Carlsbad; a brother, Gene of Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Nunn of Muskogee, Okla. and Mrs. Phoebe Mitshell of Baldwin, Mo., and five grandchildren.
