Helen Edgington, 87, formerly of Frankfort, died at 6:48 a.m. Oct. 8 in Westmoreland Place, following an extended illness.
She was born Aug. 12, 1901, in Ross County to Charles and Minne McCormick Cook. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur C. Edgington.
Survivors include four nephews, Herman Cook, Wayne M. Cook and Charles L. Cook, all of Chillicothe, and Edwin A. Cook, Smith Lane; several grandnieces and nephews and great grandnieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Harold Cook.
Mrs. Edgington was a member of the Dry Run United Methodist Church.
Funeral services were handled by Ware Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Moore officiating.
