She was born in Pocahontas on August 14, 1948 and was the daughter of James Dallas and Mary Ella (McCandless) Martin. She was employed with Vital Link Ambulance service for the past ten years and previously worked for Batesville Family Practice for twenty years. Dallene enjoyed reading, traveling, movies, and animals, especially dogs and cats. She was everyone's friend, was kind, caring and enjoyed spending time with her girls and grandson.
Dallene is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Jill and Scott Hedden of Batesville, Jennifer and Bryan Harmon of Batesville, Julie and Damon Sebree of Crockett's Bluff, Arkansas; one grandson, Tate Martin Hedden; two step-grandchildren; Mary Jane Hedden and Foster Hedden; one brother, Doug Martin of Birmingham, Alabama; and one sister, Rita Wileman of Pocahontas.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Darrel Martin.
Memorial services are at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Roller-Crouch Chapel with Steve Norris officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Cremation services are by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
