CURTIS FUNERAL HELD IN HINDSBORO
Hindsboro, July 21,--Funeral services for Mrs. Abigal Curtis were held from the Christian church Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Price Roberts of Robinson, Ill. Music was furnished by the church choir.
Mrs. Curtis died Sunday evening after several weeks severe suffering from cancer. She was a much loved woman and good neighbor and had a large circle of friends. She having been a resident of Hindsboro for many years. Her husband, D. W. Curtis, died in June of last year and one daughter, Myrtle Eversole, several years ago. The following chidren survive: R. E. Curtis of Hindsboro, Mrs. R. E. Patterson of Charleston, Ill., Mrs. Alvin Davis of Reardin (Rardin), Ill., and Mrs. David Walsh of Stanford, Conn. Six grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.
Interment was in the Union cemetery, southeast of Hindsboro.
