MRS. JOE TERRY DIES IN HUNTSVILLE; FUNERAL SUNDAY
Mrs. Joe Terry, 81, died last night at the Winkler Nursing Home in Huntsville.
Born at Darksville, she was the former Miss Margaret Haines, daughter of Gideon and Martha Haines. She lived in the Darksville neighborhood and in Huntsville all her life. She was a member of Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church at Darksville.
Mrs. Terry is survived by her husband; a granddaughter, Mrs. Wanda Jo Rothwell, Detroit; and three great-grandchildren, Jeannette, Terry Joe and Leslie Ann Rothwell. A son, W. Y. Terry died suddenly March 20 in Chicago. Another daughter, Louanna, died in infancy.
Mrs. Terry was the last of a family of 10 children.
The body is in the Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville where services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon by the Rev. T. W. Hammons, pastor of Mt. Shiloh Church. Burial will be in the Huntsville cemetery.
