Mrs. Annie Hanbury Jarvis Taylor Twining, 74, died yesterday in a Carey, Ohio hospital after a short illness. She was a native of Fentress but had resided in Norfolk for 69 years. She was the daughter of William T. and Elizabeth Miller Hanbury and the wife of Oscar Twining, who survives her. She formerly was married to the late John C. Jarvis and the late Charles Taylor.
Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Ellen Kimberly and Mrs. Mae Fox, both of Ohio; Mrs. Marie Glennings and Mrs. Mildred Christ, both of Norfolk; four sons, John R. Jarvis, Frank C. Jarvis, Luther A. Taylor, and Alvin R. Taylor, all of Norfolk, and one sister, Mrs. Sarah Privott, of South Norfolk.
The body was forwarded to Sykes Funeral Home pending arrangements.
