Eastport - Fred L. Wilson, 64, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 1996, at the Veterans Hospital in togus. He was born in Eastport, Feb. 13, 1932, the son of Jack and Mabel (Rogers) Wilson. He served in the U.S. Army for 16 years, which included two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was predeceased by his parents, and a sister, Jackie (Wilson) Bowen. He is survived by one daughter, Amanda Mahar; one son, Jack Wilson, both of Eastport; one brother, James Wilson and his wife, Regina of Perry; seven sisters, Ethel Craig and her husband, Phillip, Helen Archer and her husband, Rocky, all of Eastport, Dawn Jones of Otis, Beverly Carter of Dennysville, Marcia Arensberg and her busband, Jack of Michigan, Corliss Critchley and her husband, Ben of New York and Pamela Strong of Augusta; two grandchildren, Victor and Carrie Beth Mahar, both of Eastport; several nieces and nephews; two very special people, Vickie Smith of Dennysville and Marianne Varney of Eastport. Friends may call at the Flagg Funeral Home, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, Dec, 13, 1996. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home 2 p.m. saturday, Dec. 14, 1996, with the Rev. John Phelps officiating. Interment will be Bayside Cemetery, Eastport.
