Born in Havana, Cuba, May 1, 1934, a daughter of the late Maria Ruiz, she was a Wallingford resident for 47 years. She had been employed by the former Stanley-Judd Co. for 28 years, and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Zunilda Rocco and her husband, Ronald, of Wallingford; her son, Bruce Sperry, Jr., and his wife, Lynn, of Waterford; her grandchildren, Keith Rocco and his wife, Cassandra, of Meriden, Jeff Rocco, of Wallingford, Evan Sperry and Elise Sperry, both of Waterford; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her eight brothers and sisters.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church. Interment will follow in Center Street Cemetery.
