Mary E. Schoppert, 68, of 83 Virginia St. Keyser, W.Va., and formerly of Piedmont, W.Va., died Friday, April 28, 2006, at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Va.

Born April 21, 1938, in Keyser, she was the daughter of the late Harold Parsons and Irene (Junkins) Parsons. She was also preceded in death her husband, Harry N. Schoppert, who died on April 12, 1988; and by one sister, Carol Bryan.

Mrs. Schoppert was Protestant by faith. She spent here time as a mother and grandmother and liked to hunt and fish.

She is survived by two daughters, Robin Green and husband, Jim, of Richmond, Va., and Barbara Schoppert Sause of Fountain, W.Va.; and one son, Tim Schoppert and wife, Cheryl, of Piedmont.

She is also survived by four grandchildren, Shelly and Holly Schoppert and Nikki and Andy Green; a brother, Robert Parsons and wife, Mary, of Bloomington, Md.; and a sister, Janet Barton and husband, Thomas, of Cresaptown, Md.

The family will receive friends at the Fredlock Funeral Home in Piedmont on Monday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday with Jeanne Thrasher officiating.

Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport, Md.

The family requests that Memorials be directed to the Keyser Rescue Squad, 236 S. Water St. in Keyser, WV 26726.
