Suggested edit: I just want to mention that John Dyer's wife Elizabeth was born and died in Caroline County Virginia. John married his second wife Dinah Tribble while still living in Caroline County. That is proven by the Rev. War pension application of John and Dinah's son Manoah Dyer who stated that he was born in Caroline, Virginia on 28 Sep 1755.

The date of birth and death are not known. The above are approximate dates.
Elizabeth Bluford married John Dyer [Sr] around 1730. She died in 1750; John, in 1754, married Dinah Ann Tribble.
Elizabeth's maiden name 'Bluford' has carried through several generations, in that the name "Bluford or Buford Dyer" has shown up in first names into the 1900's.
Children of John and Elizabeth were James, John Jr., Nancy, Elisha, Joshua, and probably Agnes.
Children of John and Dinah, beginning in 1755, are Manoah, Hamon, and Hezekiah.
[Thank you Merrilee, FAG contributor, for providing the information concerning the second wife of John Dyer furnished by a 7th generation great granddaughter via Find-A-Grave].
Warren County, Kentucky was established in 1796. The first white men (long hunters) arrived there in 1770. Unless. Elizabeth is native, she was not born in Warren County, Kentucky.
