CHILHOWIE--Carrie Collins Owens, 75, of Rt 2, died Thursday, Nov. 23 in Gaithersburg, MD, hospital.
She was a member of Abundant Life Church of God, formerly Ford Church of God, in Seven Mile Ford.
Survivors include her husband, Elmer D. Owens; two daughters, Betty Frazier, Marion, and Linda Stanberry, Chilhowie; three sons, Robert E. Owens, Lealand Owens, and Carter Owens, all of Chilhowie; four sisters, Alva Doss, Chilhowie; Lottie Thomas, Manassas; Hattie Richardson, Roanoke; and Delphia Bise, Rockville, MD; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Abundant Life Church of God, with Pastor Carl While and the Rev. Fred Bonham officiating. Burial followed in the Mountain View Cemetery.
Newberry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
