He was born April 23, 1883, at Tokerville [sic], Utah, the son of Robert and Caroline Gee McGavin; March 12, 1952, he was married to Mary E. Calkins at Idaho Falls. She preceded him in death.
He was later married to Ezra Jolley in 1959 in Idaho Falls, who survives him. Surviving are brother and sisters including Mrs. W. G. Robinson and George McGavin, both of Idaho Falls; Mrs. Irma Blackham, Honolulu, Hawaii; Mrs. King Loveland, Provo, Utah; Mrs. Sellen [sic] Lewis, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Vasco Call, Roseville, Calif.; Miss Beatrice McGavin, Anna, Ill.
Funeral services will be announced later under the direction of the Wood Funeral Home.

Roland McGavin Rites Monday
Funeral services for Roland McGavin, 78, long time resident of Idaho Falls, will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. at the 6th and 12 LDS Ward chapel, with Bishop Harold Moss officiating.
The family will meet friends at the Wood Funeral Home from 12 noon Monday until time of services.
Intrement [sic] will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
