Clyde, Tx. - Oneta Belle Bell, 70, of Eula, died Saturday, September 29, 2012, at an Abilene hospital. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at the Bible Baptist Church in Clyde with Rev. Larry Hooper and her son Rodney Bell officiating. Burial will follow in the Eula Cemetery under the direction of Bailey-Howard Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, October 1, 2012, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bell was born January 18, 1942 in Grosvenor, Texas to William Henry and Marget Ellender (Wiley) Carrell. She attended school in Scranton and Putnam. She married David Bell on May 16, 1958, in Putnam. They moved to Eula from Abilene in 1984. Mrs. Bell was a waitress for Royal Estates in Abilene, U-Bar-U Steakhouse and Shady Oaks Restaurant, both in Baird. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Clyde.

Mrs. Bell is survived by her husband David of Eula; two sons, David Lynn Bell and wife Nikki of Oklahoma and Rodney Bell and wife Tricia of Abilene; two daughters, Seleta Jenkins of Eula and Shelly Midgett and husband Scott of Abilene; one sister, Jo Shepard of Odessa; nine grandchildren, William, Joseph and Shawn Bell, Christina Strother, Stacy Theilen, Corey Jenkins, Amanda Ramos, Colton Midgett and Dawson Bell; and five great grandchildren, Kylee and Easton Theilen, Madison and Brayden Strother, and Teagan Ramos.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Rudolph and Richard Carrell, two sisters, Edna Parrish and Madelyn Slate, and a son-in-law, George Jenkins.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Hirsch, Dr. Trauth and staff, Hendrick Medical Center Parker 7 and the Hendrick Hospice Floor.

Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
