Son of Alexander and Helen Constabaris, of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
He was a Lawyer before enlisting.
He was the pilot of a Lockheed Hudson 111A FH 233, of 44 Group, Ferry Command, that was being delivered to Britain, when it crashed into the sea in Donegal Bay off the coast of County Sligo, Ireland, at 11.30am on 23 May 1942. His body was washed ashore on the opposite side of Donegal Bay, near Killybegs, on 29 May 1942. The bodies of the two other crewmen were not recovered.
In accordance with the usual practice, the Irish authorities transferred his body to Northern Ireland.
