He was born in Lake Placid on June 11, 1894, the son of Jerry and Odila (Goupille) Bola. He was the widower of Bertha M. Bola who died August 15, 1978.
A veteran of World War I, Mr. Bola worked as a carpenter with his brother George until his retirement several years ago.
He was a former member of Lake Placid American Legion Post No. 326.
He was survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday morning, June 25, 1981, at 9 a.m. from St. Agnes' Church, the Rev. Philip T. Allen, pastor, officiating. Committal services followed at 11 a.m at the Evergreen Cemetery in Keeseville, New York.
