NOTE:: cemetery has no record of headstone, and volunteer who has checked the plot verified there is no headstone for Edward......I believe the Feb 18,1878 date listed for Edward Fitzgibbons in the cemetery records is a reinterrment date, rather than a death date, as his wife is listed as widowed in both the 1870 and 1880 U.S. census records, so he apparently died prior to 1870. Several other Fitzgibbons family members buried in this plot also show Feb 18,1878 as date of burial, so it appears that those members of the family were all re-buried together in Feb 18,1878.

The website for Calvary Cemetery is showing 4 other Fitzgibbons buried in same plot and space..all with same burial date,..I believe this was a reinterrment, since Edward died prior to 1870, as that census shows his wife as widowed
