Mrs. Catherine Mnich, 73, of 1113 Avery Ave., died yesterday in Community Hospital.
She was a native of Poland and a resident of Syracuse 55 years. Mrs. Mnich was a member of PLAV Post 14 Auxiliary, the St. Louis Society, the Rosary Society, and a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.
She was the widow of Kazmierz Mnich.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Raymond Breese of North Syracuse and Mrs. William Kurgan of LaFayette; two sons, Chester J. and Felix L. Mnich of Syracuse; nine grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 8:15 am Saturday at Bordynski Funeral Home, 1105 W. Genesee St., and at 8:45 in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm today and tomorrow at the funeral home. The rosary will be recited at 2 pm tomorrow.
