"Mrs. Stephen Sibley died at her home on South Side near Schenevus, Sunday evening, after an illness of several weeks of Brights' disease. Mrs. Sibley was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel G. Chase, and is survived by one brother, Julian Chase, her husband, Stephen Sibley, and one daughter, Miss Lillian Sibley, of Vernon; and one son, Paul D. Sibley, who lived at home. Mrs. Sibley was a life-long resident of Schenevus, where she had many friends who will mourn her demise. She was long a member of the Methodist Episcopal church in that village. The funeral was held from her late home, Wednesday, at 2 o'clock, her pastor, the Rev. R. S. Boyce, officiating. The body was taken on the morning train Thursday, to Oneonta and by trolley to Flycreek for burial at that place.---Our Schenevus Reporter."
