Jill Heard (Bennett) passed away on October 4th in Stockton where she was born and raised. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mel and Lorraine Bennett, and her husband, Ralph Heard. Jill and Ralph were married for 48 years and raised two children, [names ommited for privacy]who survive them. She is also survived by her sister, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Jill worked at San Joaquin County Municipal Court for over 30 years in various jobs, including court room clerk and supervisor, respected and loved by many she supervised. She loved live theater and acted and volunteered at Stockton Civic Theatre.
Internment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Aid Society of Northern California, 700 McHenry Avenue, #B, Modesto, CA 95350.
