Mildred M. Nace, Funeral services for Mildred M. Nace, 72, of Bradley Drive in Carlisle, will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, South Middleton Township.
She died Monday, July 3, 2000 in Carlisle Hospital.
Born May 22, 1928 in Perry County, she was a daughter of the late William C. and Minnie M. Sheriff Brownawell and the widow of Marlin L. Nace Sr., who died in 1988.
Mrs. Nace had worked at the former Bedford Shoe Co., Carlisle and was a member of Carlisle Alliance Church. She was also a member of Union Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and AARP.
Surviving are a daughter, Lori J. Krick of Carlisle; two sisters, Betty Rhoads of Gardners and Mary Stump of Carlisle; four brothers, Earl Brownawell, Robert "Bobby" Brownawell and David "Pete" Brownawell, all of Shermans Dale, and Jess Brownawell of Carlisle; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Marlin L. Jr.
The Rev. Leon W. Young will officiate at services. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, North Middleton Township.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
