Rebecca Thompson was probably from the extended Thompson family that lived in Fayette Co, IN by 1830, and were from PA. Her father might have been Samuel Thompson, and lived near a John Thompson in 1840, aged 60-69, that might have been her father, uncle, or other close relative.

Rebecca married Isaac Williams on 02 Oct 1828 in Fayette County, Indiana. Isaac and Rebecca lived in Columbia Twp, Fayette, IN until 1839, when they moved to Fulton County, Illinois.

Rebecca died in Union Twp near Troy, in Fulton County, IL. Isaac remarried Margaret Beck in Mar 1865, and died in 1885 in Abingdon Twp, Knox Co, IL at the home of Isaac and Rebecca's eldest daughter Nancy Ann Baldwin.
