BERLIN - Beatrice Clark Adkins, 79, of here died Friday, August 9, 1996, at Berlin Nursing Home of heart failure.

Born in Bishopville, she was the daughter of the late James Clark and Gertrude Davis Clark.

Her husband, Ralph Clayton Adkins, died in 1980.

Adkins was a homemaker throughout her life. She was also a member of Taylorville United Methodist Church and the Berlin Senior Center.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-laws, Albartus and Norma Adkins of Frankford, and William R. and Donna Adkins of Pocomoke City, eight grandchildren; two
stepgrandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A grandson preceded her in death.

A funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Burbage Funeral Home on William Street in Berlin. The Revs. Harold Spedden and Olin Shockley will officiate. Interment
will follow in Sunset Memorial Park near Berlin. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Contributions may be made in memory of the deceased to Taylorville United Methodist Church, Berlin, MD.
