BARKER - At his home in the town of Trimbelle, Feb 24th, 1899 William Barker aged 65 years.
Mr Barker was born in Sheffield England, March 30, 1834. He came to Wisconsin in 1843 and to Pierce Co. in 1876. He was married to his bereaved wife in 1870. To them were born five children, one daughter' preceding them to the other world. He served his country four years and three months during the Rebellion. The funeral was held at Beldenville, Feb. 28, Rev. G. Derby officiating. His comrades of the G.A. R. were in attendance and laid him to rest. He was a good man and the bereaved family have the sympathy of many friends
