Daughter of William and Eliza (Zachary) Dolan. Married George B. Mahoney on September 21, 1876 at the Metropolitan M. E. Church in Washington, D.C. According to the 1900 census she was born June 1855 in Maryland, had been married for 24 years, and was the mother of three children, two living. At that time she lived in Omaha, Nebr. with her husband George B. Mahoney, a carpenter (born January 1853 Maryland), and two sons, William G. (born December 1879 Nebr.) and Frank (born September 1886 Nebr.).

Mrs. George Mahoney.

Stricken suddenly shortly after the evening meal, Mrs. George Mahoney, 77, 2407 N street, died Sunday at 6:45 p. m., before a doctor could be summoned. Police Surgeon J. J. O'Hearn attributed death to a blood clot in the heart.

According to her husband, the two had just finished their supper when Mrs. Mahoney complained of not feeling well. She suddenly collapsed, dying a short time later.

Mrs. Emma Mahoney, 76, of 2407 N street, died Sunday at her home following an illness of two years. She had lived in Omaha 52 years. Surviving her is her husband, George; a son, William of Tacoma, Wash.; three sisters, Mrs. John Derbin, Mrs. Elizabeth Hourigan, and Mrs. John Dolan, and two brothers, Joseph and Robert Dolan. Services will be held at the John A. Gentleman mortuary Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. to St. Agnes' church at 9. Burial will be at Holy Sepulcher cemetery.
