Services for Maurice William Lindquist, 75, of 2600 Thornton Ave., who died of a heart ailment Feb. 7 in Tucson, Ariz., will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Dunn's Funeral Home. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Gowrie Township Cemetery in Gowrie.

Mr. Lindquist was born in Gowrie and had lived in Des Moines since 1934. He had been president and chairman of the board of First State Bank of Gowrie since 1963. Previously he was an accountant in Des Moines for 22 years before entering the brick and tile business with Goodwin Companies in 1956. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1946. He was a member of University I Club, Drake Bulldog Club, Stephens College Associates, Plymouth Congregational Church, Beta Gamma Sigma, Order of ARTUS, Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and he was a 32nd degree Mason.

Survivors include his wife, Anita; a daughter, Judy Lindquist of Des Moines; and a son, Nels of Gowrie.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
