INEZ MURPHY
Mrs. Arthur C. Murphy, 57, of Eaton, wife of the president of the Lake to Lake Dairy Cooperative, died this morning at the farm home on route 4 Chilton, following a two month's illness.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at the Erbe-Hoffmann funeral home, Chilton, and at 9:30 at the St. Augustin Catholic church, Chilton. Burial will be in the Catholic cemetery at St. Nazianz.
She was born in Menden, Nebr., in 1889, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John McCarthy and was married at Clarks Mills in 1916 to Mr. Murphy. She was a member of the Christian Mothers of the St. Augustin congregation and was vice chairman of the auxiliary of Manitowoc County farm bureau.
Survivors are the husband; two sons, James at home and John of Madison; two daughters, Mrs. Rita Runnels of Coleman, Wis., Mrs. Loretta Lewandowski of route 4, Chilton; three brothers, John of Reedsville, Ray
of this city and Donald of Milwaukee; three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Johnson of Valders, Mrs. Otto Wagner of route 4 Chilton and Mrs. Loretta Johnson of route 1, Valders; and six grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the Chilton funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday, where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday.
