From Kathie L Webb Blair:

I am pretty much direct family descendant of Willis Presnell Davidson Sr, in thtat his brother, Hezekiah Davidson [1789-1844] is my 3rd generation great-grandfather, making Willis a 1st cousin. Their parents were John Davidson [1770-1844] and Rachel Ellis [1770-1846].

John Davidson was a Baptist minister, following a long line of ministers [mostly named Alexander Davidson] who was originally from Gloucester County, VA. He relocated first to Kentucky and then eventually to Illinois to preach the gospel in his middle to later years. He had a large farm he called "Green Hill' which was located near the current counties of Carrollton or Macoupin, Illinois near Carlinville, which used to be part of Greene County.

(Personal note-Judy: in 1870 Willis's wife according to the census was living in T11N and R11E in Greene County that is Wrights Township but she had a Carrollton post office address. Wrights Twp is adj. to Carrollton Twp)

Upon his death, the farm was inherited by Willis Presnell Davidson Sr and John Davidson who were buried somewhere on the family farm. Upon Rachael's death, she also was buried somewhere on the farm as well. I don't know if originally their graves were marked or not; from what I can remember [because the Burkharts lived in the same area also and Melissa Ann Davidson married Leander Columbus Burkhart and they became my great-great grandparents].

My mother knew people who helped her research different counties in Illinois and there are records on file at what used to be Greene County verifying John Davidson's ownership and location of the large farm known as "Green Hill' where not only John and Rachael are buried, but I believe that Willis Presnell Davidson Sr and his wife Elizabeth[Lovelace] Davidson are also buried there.

After either the 1850's or the Civil War, the family stopped using the farm's family plot and started using the nearby cemeteries, mostly Hickory Grove Cemetery, it appears, although I've found family at other cemeteries in the area.
