Mrs. Evelyn Barnard, 72, past away March 25, 2004 at her home surrounded by immediate family and friends. Evelyn has been suffering from a long illness. She was born on November 1931 in Statesboro GA, and has been a lifelong resident of Georgia. Evelyn was preceded in death by her mother and father William H. and Lucy Jean Marsh of Statesboro, GA, Grandson Trey Barnard and Brother Johnnie Marsh.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Walter "Red" Barnard Sr. Evelyn's children are Leon and Linda Barnard, Jr. of Savannah, GA, Tafron and Larry Price of Hinesville, GA, Teri and Dan Allen of Tampa FL, Toy and Monica Barnard, and Lacey and Trapper Barnard all of Savannah GA.

Surviving siblings are Jerrie Peel of South Carolina, James Marsh, Wilamae West, Ann Lawson all of Savannah GA, Jane Baker of Alabama; Evelyn's grandchildren are Jason Bates, Shawn Muzzio both of Tampa FL., Mandy Williams, US Airforce stationed in England, Leighann Connell of El Pas o Texas, Adam Price of Hinesville GA and Travis Barnard of Savannah GA, There are seven great grandchildren.

Evelyn's Family wishes to thank everyone who has supported them through her illness. The Barnard family especially wants to thank the efforts of Dr. Wallace Holland, his staff and the nurses at the Gambro Dialysis Center for their loving care of Evelyn during her illness.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00pm Friday at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 10:00am Saturday at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home. Evelyn will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Garden.
