OBITUARY: Pocahontas (Iowa) Record-Democrat, Thursday, June 20, 1968

Funeral services for George Mosbach, 62, were held Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. S.A. Grady as celebrant of the requiem high Mass. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of the Powers Funeral Home. Casket bearers were nephews, DeWayne Mosbach, Lyle Mosbach, Edward Mosbach, Richard Johnson, Harlan Johnson, and Arthur Johnson. Mr. Mosbach died Friday afternoon at Pocahontas Community Hospital where he had been entered on Wednesday. He had been in failing health for some time.

George Mosbach was born Oct. 28, 1905 at Minonk, Ill., and came to Pocahontas with the family in 1920. He attended school at Minonk and Pocahontas. He was employed at various business places in Pocahontas, spending the greater part of his lifetime as a clerk in grocery stores.

Survivors include three brothers, Joseph of Duncombe, Frank of Storm Lake and Otto of Pocahontas, and a sister, Mrs. Herman Johnson of Rockwell.
