Substitute for Henry Bachtel of Waterloo, DeKalb Co., IN. Sent to hospital Aug. 22-29, 1865. He filed Invalid Pension Application to receive Pension Certificate #237322 Dec. 5, 1879. Married Amelia A. Shaver 1865. Resident of Pleasant Lake 1879 and 1893; of Steubenville 1898-1910; of Ashley 1911-1924. Died Jan 24, 1925; buried Pleasant Lake Cemetery, Steuben Co., IN.
