Bamberg - Mrs. Allie P. Hiott, 57, died Monday. Born in Bamberg County, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Mrs. Janie B. Proveaux. She was a retired textile employee. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Katherine Crosby of Orangeburg; sons, John F. Hiott of Bamberg and Keith A. Hiott of Denmark; sisters, Mrs. Betty Knopf of Charleston and Mrs. Corinthia Nester and Miss Priscilla Stone of Tampa, Fla.; brothers, B. F. and Otis Proveaux of Lake City; and grandchildren.
