Thompson, Archie E. 97 Oct. 24, 1914 Nov. 11, 2011 Archie had a portrait studio in Seaside but during WWII turned to civil service in Seattle. After the war, he was an engineering draftsman in Los Angeles. He also built a duplex in Portland, three homes in Los Angeles and a home in Cathedral City, Calif.-all in his spare time. Archie married twice in his life and had one son, Terry. Survived by his grandchildren, Robert, Teresa and Corrie; and great-grandchildren, Angie, Jessie, Travis, Melanie, Deann and Dana. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia; son, Terry; and grandson, Billy.
