June Wood Wynn, age 80 devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully on August 23, 2003, with her daughters by her side. She was lovingly attended by her family during her lingering illness.
June was born May 20, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Wm. Riley and Camille Evans Wood. She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and held numerous positions
June is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Sam D. Wynn Jr., Bountiful, her sons and daughters; Sam (Vikki), Salt Lake, John, Las Vegas NV, Daniel (Alice), Bountiful, Rebecca (Mike) Hill, Centerville, Lynda (Ronald) Thomson, West Bountiful, Sylvia Wynn, West Jordan, Irma (Mike) Ludwig, North Salt Lake, Camille Schmidt, Brigham City; 24 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and one on the way. Also by her brothers and sisters; Velma Carling, twin sister Geraldine Burwell, Bill( Jean) Wood, Darrel (Coral) Wood, Wayne Wood, Bryan (Jerry) Wood, Marilyn Day and Sharon Rose. Preceded in death by her parents and son Richard Wakefield Wynn.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 27, 2003 at the Centerville City Cemetery. Friends and family may call Tuesday from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m., at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N.
