Died. - At his residence in Arkansas City, Monday morning, Dec. 19th, 1881, Mr. David Berger, aged 54 years. At the early age of 21 Mr. Berger confessed Christ in the Lutheran Church, and has thus been a member of the church for thirty three years, one-third of a century. Removing to Nevanqua, Iowa in 1857 he transferred his relations to the Congregational church; the church of his choice. Afterward he removed to Ottumwa, Iowa, where, for years, he was a consistent member of the same church. Four years ago he came to this place and united with the Presbyterian church, and for two years has been a member of Session.
