Andrea, better known as Annie, was born November 5, 1980 in Sweden, New York in the back of a car. Just as she was anxious to arrive before reaching the hospital, she was anxious to leave this life way too early, in a car.
Annie had an adorable smile, beautiful blue eyes and blond hair, boundless energy and amazing creative abilities. She loved deeply, very deeply. She cherished her family, friends, pets and had a love for all people. Because of her love and respect for animals she became a vegetarian at age twelve.
Annie's hug was like warmth to the heart. Her sweet words and thoughtful gestures helped heal even the biggest wounds. Annie was always making precious gifts to give to those she loved. She was a best friend, cherished daughter, priceless sister and most of all our Little Annie. Annie suffered struggles, losses and disappointments. Now in the arms of her Heavenly Father and loved ones, she is enjoying peace and smiles. She knew and loved her Savior and He loves her.
Annie was an incredible dancer and had a passionate love for music. Her deep thoughts and poetry were always written in her notebooks. She enjoyed long walks and insightful conversation. She thrived in the sunshine and loved to cuddle up in a blanket. She loved to draw, shop, dance, sing, laugh, decorate, invent, share and give. Her gentle, caring heart touched so many of our lives. Annie embraced life and lived it fully.
Andrea was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She attended Viewmont High School. We love you Annie and will miss you so much!! Left behind until we hold you in our arms again: parents, Dales S. Richards and Linda "Lindsay" Merrick Richards; sisters, Emily Richards, Natalie (David) Poelman, Keri (Chris) Thredgold; brother, Brad; nephew, Andrew Poelman; nieces, Ashley Poelman and Kennadie Thredgold; dear friend, Brian Thoman; many other dear friends, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. A special thank you to the Centerville Police Dept., and all those that helped with comfort and support. Annie is, was and will be an angel - Always and Forever.
