Jerry Jack Anderson
(November 16, 1933 - March 16, 2010)

Jerry Jack Anderson, age 76, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Timeless Grace Assistant Living Center in Henleyfield, MS.

Mr. Anderson retired from Gaylord Container Corp. in 1995, where he worked as a machinist for 45 years. He also was a devoted Christian and spent many years serving as a deacon at Memorial Baptist Church in Bogalusa, LA.

He was sadly missed by his wife Lois Crain Anderson; two daughters, Sharon Collins (Mike Owens) and Patti (Joel) Thigpen; grandchildren, Re'Shee (Ricky) Keller, Kelvie (Jay) Wheat and Field (Allisha) Thigpen; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Bobby Anderson; one sister, Jackie Martin; three step-children, Tammy Hodge, Donna Hodge and Sammy Crain and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his First Wife, Eddie Marie Dowdy Anderson; his parents, Jack Anderson and Ozzie Robbins Anderson.

The Active Pallbearers will be, Gary Magee, David "Cooter" Hodge, Ricky Keller, Jay Wheat, Jewell Brumfield and John Kimble.

Honorary Pallbearers will be, David Parker and Royce Dowdy.

Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home at 6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 17, 2010.

Visitation will continue at 9:00 a.m. until the Funeral Services at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Field Thigpen and Rev. Larry Mizell to officiate at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel and Entombment to follow at Sanctuary of Peace Mausoleum in Ponemah Cemetery on Thursday, March 18, 2010.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Timeless Grace Facility and Staff.
