R.W. Etchison, Franklon, Dies

FRANKTON - Ralph W. Etchison, 64, Frankton, died Sunday morning at his home at 5 o'clock of complications. He had been ill the last four weeks. Born in Madison county, he was the son of J. Frank and Emma Etchison. He was married to Dalice Foust. He was a retired farmer and was a contractor. He was a member of the Elks, Eagles, K of P, lodges, the D.V.A. and the V.F.W. and the American Legion. Survivors include the widow, three daughters, Mrs. Ruby J. Hays of Frankton, Mrs. Wanita Paddock of Anderson and Mrs. Doris Hobbs of Elwood, one brother, Arthur J. Etchison of near Elwood, four sisters. Mr. Nola Brown of Anderson, Mrs. Eulala Nevins, and Mrs. Veda Jarrett of near Elwood and Mrs. Greta Allen of Lagro and nine grandchildren. The body was taken today to the home of a daughter, Mrs. Hays in Frankton from the Copher and Fesler funeral home, where friends may call. Funeral rites will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Frankton Christian church. Rev O.C. Stroup, pastor and the Rev. Gorman Pritchett, pastor of Frankton Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be made in Elwood City cemetery.
