Coid Castleberry, 68, retired carpenter, a resident of 2903-B 71st Street, died at 1:35 a. m. on April 28, 1969, at Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient for over two weeks. Mr. Castleberry was born at Warren, Arkansas, and had resided on the coast for 29 years, moving here from Warren.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eva Mae Shavers Castleberry, Gulfport; three sons, James Harold Castleberry and Floyd Castleberry of Dallas, and Junia Castleberry of Gulfport; one daughter, Geraldine Craig of Norcross, Georgia; 23 grandchildren; one brother, Don Castleberry, of Hermitage, Arkansas; one sister, Mrs. Epsie Gates, also of Hermitage.

Visitation was held at Riemann Funeral Home on April 29, 1969.

Funeral service was held in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. P. S. Dodge of Providence Baptist Church officiating. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
