RIPLEY — Audrey Belcher, 87, formerly of Clear Fork, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012.
Born February 25, 1925, at Clear Fork, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Herbert Brunty (1902-1960) and Myrtle Morgan-Brunty (1910-1985).
Audrey was a devoted, loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Belcher Sr. and her brothers, Ray Brunty (1928-Deceased) and Fred Brunty (1923-1981).
Those left to cherish Audrey's memory are her sons, Eugene Brunty and his wife, Ann of Bristol, TN, Danny Brunty and his wife, Cathy of Ripley, WV, and Troy Brunty Jr. and wife, Beth of Gloucester, VA; grandchildren, Brandon Belcher, Valerie Mach, Craig Belcher, Jamey Biggs, Brenda Mariniak, James Miller, and Pat Morris; eight great-grandchildren; her brother, Joe and his wife, Ruby Brunty of LaFollette, TN; sisters, Irene Brunty-Blankenship and her husband, G.T. Blankenship of Mt Hope, Virgie Brunty-Snyderand her husband, Bob Snyder of Shady Springs, Millie Brunty-Kloopfer and her husband, Joe Klopfer of Boynton Beach, FL, and Jean Brunty of Nashville, TN; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Audrey's life will be 1 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2012, at Evans Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Hannibal Blankenship Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny. The family will receive friends from noon until the time of service Friday, at the funeral home.
