Ballew and five daughters; Mrs. Janie Leslie, Greenville, Mrs. Geneva Hampton of Clinton, Mrs. Rebecca Poole of Clinton, Mrs. Minnie Brown of Gastonia, NC, and Mrs. Nancy Ann Sentell of Sandy Flat section of Greenville County SC. She is also survived by two sons; W. J. Ballew of Greenville and J.P. Ballew of Anderson, SC. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Sarah Tucker of Conestee, SC.
Funeral services were held at Morgan Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Webb officiating. Interment in the Bethuel Baptist Church Cemetery on Augusta Road. Pending the service, the body was at the home of her son W. J. Ballew, 36 Bates Street, American Spinning Company.
