Mrs. Durell Kryder of Keating, died Jan. 14, 1891, aged 56 years and 7 months. The funeral took place at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. P. Moyer. She leaves a husband and four children, viz: Mrs. W. H. Delany, and Mrs. P. Mooyer, both of Keating, and Messrs. John V. B. Kryder of Lock Haven and Amos Kyrder of Philipsburg, Centre county. She also leaves twenty two grandchildren and two great grandchildren, who will all miss her kindness and loving presence. On the coffin was a silver plate bearing the inscription At Rest. The pall bearers were C. F. Golden, A. C. Sankey, John Smart, William Saltsman, Mr. Johnson and John Boone. A large concourse of weeping friends followed the remains the clods of the hillside until the final resurrection, when the dead shall be raised and behold our Father on His great white throne where we shall know as we are known.

To reach us that distressing
On earth may prove a blessing
To win us nearer to Him
Who every act is love.
