Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Floral Heights United Methodist Church with the Rev. Merwin Turner, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Loyd was born July 23, 1915, in Bluegrove, Texas. She and Max C. Loyd were married in 1937 in Oklahoma. He died in 1974.
She graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1933. She was a Sunday School teacher for the couple's class at Floral Heights United Methodist Church. She served as president of United Methodist Women many times. She was a member of the Woman's Forum. She helped get the Meals on Wheels Program started in Wichita Falls. She was a retired Activities Director with the North Texas Senior Citizen's Center.
Survivors include two daughters, Christine Farmer of Mountain Home, Ark., and Melodee Gaines of Wichita Falls; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
