ERWIN- Mrs. Mary Hensley, 69, passed away Tuesday in Unicoi County Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Washington County but spent most of her life in Erwin. Mrs. Hensley was a member of the Canah Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Johnnie Hensley and Donald Hensley; two daughters, Mrs. Willard Ledford and Mrs. Roy Nelson; one brother, Joe Rogers; four sisters, Mrs. Ed Jones, Mrs. W.M. Blevins, Mrs. Bob Richerson and Mrs. Rudy Taylor. *Source- Johnson City Press, Oct 18, 1974, Page 2
