Missouri Death Certificate#3990:

Sadie Shaw, 24 years, 27 days old, of Tebbetts, Missouri died at 5:00am on January 24, 1915, at her home.

Dr. G.F. Rootes, of Tebbetts, Missouri, pronounced death caused by Angina Pectoris contributed to by Intense cold. The informant was J.H. Spencer, father of the deceased.

Mrs. Shaw was born December 27, 1891, in Callaway County, Missouri, the daughter of John H. and Maggie (Burns) Spencer, born in Virginia and Ohio. She was married to Leonard James Shaw and he survives. Mrs. Shaw was a housewife.

Arrangements were under the care of H.A. Harris Undertaker of Tebbetts. Burial was in the High Hill Cemetery.

Sadie Shaw had a son born in 1907, Glen, son of Ernest Witwer.

In 1910 Census Glen is listed as Glen Shaw, Sadie had married Leonard James Shaw. On the 1920 Census Glen is listed as Glen Spencer at living in the household of his grandparents, John Henry and Margaret Ellen (Burns) Spencer.

Sadie and Leonard had a daughter named Violet Shaw, born April 25, 1914. Violet died of Typhoid Fever on April 4, 1917.
